This study investigates whether oocyte maturity rate predicts blastocyst development and euploidy rates independently of patient age. In a retrospective analysis of 1547 women undergoing their first IVF/ICSI cycle with PGT-A, oocyte maturity rate was found to be positively correlated with these outcomes after controlling for age and other confounding factors (p<0.01). The findings suggest that oocyte maturity rate is a valuable biomarker for oocyte quality and could guide physicians in optimizing ovarian stimulation regimens. Additionally, this metric may enhance the role of artificial intelligence in improving protocols and outcomes in ART.
